Well, it was in the vast expanses of Belarus not too famous, but quite a skillful studio Wargaming.net. The studio had on its account releases of several games, improvements for third-party clients and other similar orders.

Creating World Of Tanks

A heartwarming conversation about the fate of World Of Tanks (WoT) took place on December 12, 2008 and lasted several hours. The developers faced a dilemma that was quite difficult to resolve. So, there is some serious money that Yahoo paid. There is a desire to do something epoch-making and. And, most importantly, multi-user is already in development.

As you already understood, in the end a phrase was uttered that dotted all the "i". I can not vouch for the verbatimity of what was said, but the main message was as follows: to hell with the orcs, let's make tanks! From that moment, work began on " Tankodrome". Yes, the working title of the game was just that.

Oh, how many failures the studio had to hear when it tried to take into the stake serious investors with whom it could share the financial burden of working on World Of Tanks. Orcs and elves were understood and approved by many, but no one wanted to invest in incomprehensible who needed tanks. Today, these people probably bite their elbows, but at that time they laughed at Wargaming.net studio, considering them visionaries, preoccupied with a disastrous and unpromising “project”.

And yet, despite the silly hooting, Wargaming.net continued to work on World Of Tanks. In 2011, the year was the time of expansion of the game to the West and East. World Of Tanks was launched in a short time in China, America and the UK. It seems to me that there are three main “whales” on which the success of the World Of Tanks game “stands”:

A new way to get premium cars.

  2. Each component has its own task branch in the operation:
  a) Powerplant - task line for light tanks;

  d) Gun - task branch for tank destroyers;
  e) Radio station - task branch for self-propelled guns.

Order forms.

A new entity “Order Forms” has been added:

1. To earn an order form, you must complete any final task of any branch with honors;
  2. Order forms can be placed (that is, applied) in any tasks. In this way:
  a) The selected task will be automatically considered completed without distinction;
  b) You will receive a reward for the basic conditions of the task;
  c) The spent order form will remain embedded in the task;
  d) The pledged order form does not disappear, but is temporarily frozen until you take it back.
  3. To pick up the mortgaged order form, it is necessary to complete the task in which it is placed, with honors. Thus, you get your order form back and can reuse it.
  4. The number of order forms necessary for laying in tasks:
  a) For any task from 1 to 14 - 1 order form;
  b) In task 15 - 4 order forms.

To summarize: order forms can be used to skip complex or uninteresting tasks for you. And most importantly: you can put order forms in the final, fifteenth task in the branch, even if the previous 14 tasks have not yet passed. Thus, you can instantly get the 5th missing component of the machine by completing 4 task branches with honors.

New rewards.

  a) In each operation, 2 patches can be earned:
  * A badge of the II degree is issued simultaneously with the receipt of the award car;
  * A badge of the 1st degree is awarded for completing all 75 tasks of a specific operation.

  a) In each operation, you can earn a set of 3 (summer, winter, desert) unique camouflage patterns:
  * A set of 3 camouflage schemes for the award car is issued for performing all 75 tasks of the operation;
  * The same set of schemes is unlocked for use on all vehicles of the same nation as the award vehicle, for completing all 75 tasks of the operation with honors.

Change task conditions

The tasks in each operation were revised to increase the relevance of the main award. For example, now all the tasks from the StuG IV operation can actually be performed on Tier V vehicles, from the T28 Heavy Tank Concept operation at Tier VII, and so on. However, participation restrictions have not changed. You can perform tasks of any operation even at the X level of technology.

We also made the additional conditions more varied in the final, fifteenth tasks of each branch. This is due to the fact that the additional reward for tasks completing the branches has become more valuable: now Order forms are located there.

Note! If, by the terms of the task, you need, for example, to find 5 cars in a battle, and you find 7, then obviously, the task will be successfully counted. This rule is valid for all numerical conditions.

Bons and Medals

Starting from 9.20.1, upon receiving a medal from the categories “Epic Achievements” and “Heroes of the Battle”, the player will receive additional promotion in the form of a bon.
