Bookmarks, passwords, settings, installed extensions and applications, themes and open tabs of all your Chrome (on desktops, tablets, mobile phones) will be stored in your account and this can be seen in quantitative terms in "(You will also find this link to it at the very top of the Chrome settings window).

That, in fact, is all I wanted to focus on. The rest of your Google profile settings are quite clear, prosaic and, by and large, not that important (at least for me).
