10 rules for dental care

It is believed that a smile is magic. It can heal emotional pain. Your smile will help reduce the distance between your loved one. However, in order for the smile to work, you need to have excellent teeth. Therefore, we offer 10 rules that will help keep your teeth in excellent condition.

10. Choosing a toothbrush

Whether you prefer an electric toothbrush or a regular toothbrush, there are a few rules to follow when choosing a toothbrush. The first is the size of the toothbrush, as it must be able to reach all surfaces of the teeth. The brush head should be one half inch wide and one inch high - this is the best size and most effective. There are a wide variety of toothbrushes on the market today, so the main consideration when choosing is the ease of maneuvering the toothbrush as it needs to reach some hard to reach areas such as the sides of the cavity and the back of your molars. Second, choose a toothbrush based on the strength of your teeth, choosing between soft, medium, or hard nylon bristles. And of course, make sure that the package has a seal of approval from dentists.

9. Brush your teeth

Brush your teeth thoroughly at least once a day for 2 to 3 minutes. Start brushing at the surfaces of your upper teeth and then your lower teeth. Then the inner surface of the upper teeth, and then the lower teeth. And of course, don't forget about your chewing teeth. And indispensable for good breathing, don't forget to brush your tongue.

8. Brush your teeth with dental floss.

Dental floss can reach very hard to reach places that a toothbrush can miss. For proper cleaning, the thread length should be 18 inches. Wrap the thread around your index finger. With a gentle movement, move the floss between the teeth, and so on from all sides of the teeth. When you move the floss to another tooth, use the new part of the floss. Then rinse your mouth and smile!

7. Visiting the dentist

You should visit your dentist regularly for preventive checks and cleanings. Your dentist will see problems that you don't. Acid-rich foods such as tomatoes, lemons, and other citrus fruits should be eaten as part of a larger meal to reduce the effects of acid.

6. Pay attention to your diet.

Try to have a well-balanced diet and avoid excessive "snacking" between full meals, especially things like hard candy. Try to include cheeses, chicken or other meats, nuts and milk as they provide calcium and phosphorus. As well as foods rich in acids, namely, citrus fruits (tomatoes, lemons ...). But do not forget about the advice in the previous paragraph. Avoid foods rich in sugar: lollipops, caramel, chocolate, cookies, pies, bread, chips, pretzels, french fries, bananas, raisins and other dried fruits.

5. Cleaning methods

Before brushing your teeth in the morning, rinse your teeth with apple cider vinegar. This will help remove stains, whiten teeth and kill bacteria. You can also try brushing your teeth with baking soda or salt once a week. However, this should be done with plenty of water!!!

4. Whitening toothpaste

Because professional whitening is very expensive, you can use a whitening toothpaste to get snow white teeth. This will help remove surface stains from coffee or smoking. Use this toothpaste twice a week to keep your teeth white.

3. Sensitive teeth.

To prevent problems such as periodontitis, which can cause toothache, brush your teeth with a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Also, if you have sensitive teeth, use a softer bristled toothbrush. And don't forget to change your brush 3-4 times a year. If you wear braces, then you should use special toothbrushes and other oral hygiene tools.

2. Advice for women.

Use lipstick colors like coral or light red lipstick. They will make your teeth look whiter, while lighter lipsticks will bring out the yellowness of your teeth.
