Battle Assistant will add a completely new aiming mode for art and a few other features to the game.
Why is the modification useful?
This is an alternative sight for artillery, the peculiarity of which is that the view during the art mode completely changes, that is, the standard top view is replaced by an adapted isometry and thus it is much more comfortable to fire at enemies. You can literally trace the trajectory of the projectile.
This is especially noticeable when shooting around the city, as you can see whether the projectile will fly through the houses or not, in contrast to the standard mode, where you have to navigate only by the changing color of the strip.
The mod works only for self-propelled guns, work in sniper mode for other types of equipment is not provided.
It was this mod that took the (Wargaming Developers Contest - a competition for developers from Wargaming). therefore the mod is not prohibited, and moreover, it is approved by the developers.
The main features and benefits of this version:
- switching aiming mode ( default key G) - standard and " ACS of a healthy person";
- zoom for art - aka zoom mod, that is, you can move the camera as far as possible from your tank and see almost the entire battlefield;
- ignoring obstacles - the camera will not jump over obstacles in the path of the projectile (enabled by default);
- fire spotter - have you noticed that when an enemy is hiding on a hill, the projectile flies much higher? This is due to the fact that if there is no target, the aiming point is shifted far behind the tank; in such cases, the spotter forces the projectiles to fly along a lower trajectory;
- expert mode - now the skill is triggered a few seconds after the damage inflicted on the enemy, also the perk is now activated after the command "support with fire".
How do I install Battle Assistant?
- Download the file.
- Run, unpack the insides.
- Everything inside must be copied to the folder: World_of_Tanks / mods / 1.4.0.0 /
How to use the scope in the game?
It doesn't take much cleverness to figure out how to turn on Battle Assistant in battle. There are two modes of operation:
- standard,
- improved (mod).

How to customize the mod?
In folder World_of_Tanks \\ res_mods \\ 1.4.0.0 \\ scripts \\ client \\ gui \\ mods file lies mod_battle_assistant.txt... We need it, we open it with a regular notepad. Below is a list of parameters:

What to do if Battle Assistant doesn't work?
- Check if the installation is correct, namely:
- the folder where you placed the files;
- the version number of the folder inside res_mods, should be 1.4.0.0;
- the folder in which the game is located must be written in English.
- If you changed the settings of the mod, possibly screwed up somewhere, restore the original version.
- The mod is guaranteed to work on a clean client, if you collect your own mods, it may conflict with other add-ons.

Of course, without any additional functions, it seems, the auto-sight is not so useful. But still, the additional functionality in the game is always pleasant and now, when playing on self-propelled artillery guns, you can turn on the auto-aim. In battle, such an opportunity is not useful in very many cases, because the target is likely to be in motion, and if the tank is still standing still, then the need for an auto-sight disappears. The question arises - why then is it necessary at all? I was able to come up with only one application of this mod: with its help, you can capture one target in a certain area of \u200b\u200bthe battlefield, and at that time look at another part of the map. On the other hand, you can simply block the movement of the sight reticle with the right mouse button, but in this case, the sight will not track the enemy, it will simply freeze at some point on the battlefield.

The most famous module of the mod is the improved artillery sight, which will really give you an advantage when playing with artillery.
The self-propelled gun sight of a healthy person:
This module became the first improvement that the mod introduced into the game and it was he who interested the members of the competition jury. The main reason for this attention was that the mod changed the look of the standard art sight and made it more like a sniper, thus allowing the artilleryman to more correctly estimate the trajectory of the projectile's flight and even aim at the lower armor plate of the tank or target it behind a stone, while causing maximum damage ...
The main advantages received by users of this mod:

If you are sure that everything was installed correctly, but the mod still does not want to work, check the name of the folder in which your game is located and if it is in Russian, rename it to English and everything will work. Proven solutions.
The sight sticks, the mod does not work, what should I do?
In update 0.9.19, many tankers faced the problem of sticking sight, all this happens due to the outdated game cache. To solve this problem, we added a program to clear the cache to the installer, it will do everything automatically. Installation:
