Famous world of tanks: Olga Sergeevna. Famous world of tanks: Olga Sergeevna Olga Sergeevna wot real name

→ Articles → Famous personalities of world of tanks: Olga Sergeevna

We continue to talk about the famous personalities of the world of tanks. Today, Olga Sergeevna, an anchor of the world of tanks news, has come under the tip of our pen. Unlike other people about whom we previously wrote, Olga Sergeevna gained popularity in wot simply because she is a girl.

In fact, it is not clear why she causes such a stir around her. After all, Olga Sergeevna is simply the host of the world of tanks news. It appeared in the second edition of the wargaming news, and immediately tons of positive reviews fell on the forums. Well, at last the harsh world of brutal tankers was visited by a girl. By the way, even after the Miss World of Tanks beauty contest was held, the players still continue to twitch nervously at the sight of girls in tanks. And it is even incomprehensible whether from positive or negative emotions.

But, despite the different attitude of tankers to girls, Olga Sergeevna won the audience completely and completely in the world of tanks. But what can I say, some players even install hangar skins with her portraits on the wall. I'm afraid to imagine what happens to them when they start watching the video wot with her participation. Terrible, comrades!

By the way, Olga Sergeevna hosts not only wot news, but also other programs covering the inner life of wargaming. You can always watch the video wot in the archives, well, or wait for new releases.

Daughter of the king

It is rumored that Olga Sergeevna got into wot for a reason. There are suggestions that her father is Sergey Burkatovsky, the main game designer of the project. It was he who made his daughter the face of news wargaming. In support of this, the players cite several facts: her patronymic is suitable, and their faces are similar. Although even so, in my opinion, none of the users of the game world of tanks are against it. Everyone runs with pleasure to watch the video with Olga Sergeevna, wot the audience is crazy about this presenter.

Training while watching video wot

There are currently two main hosts in Wargaming. Kirill Oreshkin, who was recently recruited, conducts training programs and reviews of various patches, and Olga Sergeevna's responsibilities for world of tanks are news.

Olga Sergeevna enjoys incredible popularity among World of Tanks users. We talked to a well-known game host about games and "pumping" in real life, and also learned about the sometimes difficult work of WoT video editing.

- How did you come to "tanks"?

I graduated from university and, like any normal person, I was looking for a job. I am a translator by education, and I have no problems with English, so I chose the translation bureau. But the prospect of sitting, working and translating texts, no matter how interesting they are, is a little boring. I didn’t know about World of Tanks then, because the "tanks" only fired, probably a maximum of a year has passed. At that time, the project had already been launched in Europe and the USA, and specialists were very much needed. But since there were no specialists, we all worked from Minsk. Therefore, the company was actively looking for people who can help users in Europe and America, but who are locally located here and speak English well.

A girl called me and asked: "Do you know something about us?" - "Not yet". - "Do you play video games?" “Well, actually yes. In different ". I had no passion for any genre.

Did I want to work in the support team? Immediately I thought that this is not what I expected. Where are my translations, what will I do? But over time, I realized that it was interesting. A young excellent team: everyone is so creative and cheerful, everyone is "dragging" something, they work on enthusiasm. It turned out to be contagious - I also started coming up with different things. And it all ended very successfully.

- What games did you play?

I didn't have a definite passion for any genres. Except, perhaps, the races - I completed all Need for Speed. My favorite - NFS Underground, where you could "pump" cars and there was a song "ron-don-don".

I only had prefixes as a child, Dendy and Sega. The choice was small - fights, dances and some "Chip and Dale" and "Duck Tales" in which they save the world. My father and I passed the tanks five times.

Naturally, the Sims did not pass me by later. I knew this cheat with an exclamation mark. It took a very long time to be introduced, and you immediately had a lot of money - you could build the house you wanted, you could make many friends in order to get a normal job.

I want to try GTA 5, but I don't have a console. They also took several Guinness records. Judging by previous versions, the game will run perfectly. You need to either rent or buy to go through all this.

- Do you often play World of Tanks?

I used to play often, but now a little less. Well, of course, there is a lot of work too. At the moment, I have about three thousand battles on my ru-account. When I worked in European and American technical support, there were still battles, but that was two years ago. I just quit tech support and started doing something else. Then there were planes and the WoT Generals card, a lot of all sorts of other interesting things.

"Tanks" are more familiar, because you already know the correct tactics of the game, so to speak, the strategy. And you still need to study airplanes, Generals are very interesting, but there are things that need to be improved. In general, you need to learn to play the rest, and "tanks" are now the most established product. Girls tankers, why not?

I was even taught to drive a real T-72 tank when we traveled to Pechi with cybersportsmen. First, we learned to drive a tank in a simulator. The controls there are like in a real tank, but instead of a real triplex, you see your tank driving on the screen.

Unfortunately, you cannot be a mechanic in the army if you are a girl. They put me in a real tank only as a commander, and I said where to go.

- How did it happen?

At one of the corporate events, I met the guys from the video department. In the process, it turned out that they wanted to release a new type of content - video news - and were looking for a host. Since I was very active with them, we decided to try as a host. So I began to conduct the news, and everything began to spin.

Since I showed myself well in technical support, many departments wanted to lure me over to them. As a result, the deputy director for global operations came and offered to become his assistant. I thought, how much higher, and agreed. I am still working in this position and at the same time doing news.

We often go to exhibitions and make reports from them. It turned out that, unexpectedly for myself, I became a media person.

- What is the reason for such a rapid popularity among "tankers"?

I have always been against standard presenters, beautiful and wearing makeup, for example, as on MUZ-TV. Of course, I took a little example from them, but tried to bring my own. By virtue of my character, it turned out that I made a lot of grimacing and generally behaved extremely actively.

At the end of each news release, we added snippets that didn't work, like in the Jackie Chan movies. And these moments, probably, brought popularity.

- How does the company make videos?

You always think about how to present the material so that people are interested. This is especially true of exhibitions, because they are all the same. Almost the same companies, the same products. You have to try to show something really interesting.

You need to shoot a lot of material for a three-minute video. What should I do? Come up with words, go out and say. The most heroes here, of course, are our videographers. But they work day and night to shoot beautifully, come up with something and make good content. It costs a lot.

We should not forget that for me being busy as a video host is really more fun, but there is also a main job - to help the deputy director. It is much more diverse and versatile. There is a lot to learn, it's difficult and interesting at the same time. I believe that when we all go to work, development should be the goal. We must learn something new. Even if it is difficult, but there is fun when you "pump" to a new level. For me, work is like playing "tanks". You need to constantly "pump" and upgrade.

- How many people are working on the video?

It depends on the video. News release is one thing, exhibition report is completely different. I'll tell you about the example of a news release. There is a producer who roughly outlines the topics and composes the script. He negotiates with the people he wants to interview, chooses speakers. For example, a new office has appeared - Gas Powered Games. I need Chris Taylor. You call or write to him, ask him to shoot. A team of operators from our or American office is coming to him.

Then comes a set of material: we are shooting a new office or gameplay, new features of games. For this, there is also a dedicated team of people who sit in the "trunk" and see how to show all this in the new version of the game. Then the scriptwriters get involved and write a detailed script. Now all this needs to be translated into other languages \u200b\u200b- here the team of translators is connected. We send videos to other offices for proofreading by native speakers.

Next comes the voice acting. Our favorite voice, which is voiced by all English-speaking people, is Ruslan Gabidullin from Cubic Cubes. True, when you listen to all this, you involuntarily ask yourself: "What's the Breaking Bad guy doing on the news?"

Finally, add subtitles in Japanese, Korean, English, Chinese ... The video is ready! In general, a group of 7-15 people is working on the video with the participation of outsourcers.

- Where is WG TV heading?

During my work, the WG TV project has already developed quite well. And we started with four operators and a presenter, then that was enough. Then video guides on the game were added (how best to use equipment and behave on the map), a program with the best replays of the week. Now we have enough videos about World of Tanks, and about World of Warplanes, and about the company's global news. We also use crowdsourcing, our players send their videos, cartoons and guides.

On the Russian YouTube account alone, we have 1.25 million subscribers. If the video is outstanding, it easily gains a million views, on average 350-500 thousand. Now the video department employs 40 people.

- How do you like the new system of comments on YouTube, designed to increase the meaning of the discussion?

We read the comments and take out only constructive criticism from there. And when they write on the case, we recognize and try to improve the production.

Of course, we need to see how it works. After all, most of the comments are "ololo-trololo-holivar", like a big interjection.

Some people write very long comments with criticism that is based on water. I don't think it will be filtered somehow. So it will be necessary to read everything and look for constructiveness in a heap of emotions as before.

How do you feel about the fact that the "tanks" in general may have competitors? For example, the same Gaijin Entertainment with War Thunder.

Did you collect candy wrappers as a child?

- No.

And when you bought chewing gum and came across a repeat wrapper, what did you do with it?

- I burned it.

World of Tanks is a unique project that took its own niche and was the first. Everything else that appears is repetition.

But, on the other hand, competitors are a plus for us: we see that something must be missing and this can be improved. When we entered the market, there was no competition. We floated relaxed on the waves, occupied our niches there and took awards. Now that there is competition, this is an incentive for us to run faster. I think it's great.

- What are your hobbies, what do you do in your free time?

I like traveling very much. I go to figure skating - we have opened a corporate club with professional coaches. I danced from 5 to 18 years old, but now I cannot afford it, because I have to go on business trips. Until now, I have a very warm attitude to choreography, I try to visit all possible ballets, dance theaters and performances in order to delve into all this. I know how artists feel on stage and how well they feel when they express themselves. I would really like to have a more regular schedule to practice dancing. Here you have to sacrifice one of the things that I like. Either work well and be in the center of the action, or do some simple work and dance. Well, for now I'm with World of Tanks.

- Do you happen to run into fans in real life?

It happens! This happens most often at exhibitions. People go there purposefully and know that they will meet Olga Sergeevna, or Asya, or Kirill Oreshkin there and take pictures with them. But in real life I hardly come across it.

Once a locksmith came to me to fix the door. I gave him my passport, because you need to open the door with a residence permit. And he exclaimed: "ABOUT! So I know you, you are Olga Sergeevna. " I was actually very pleased. But no one else will know much. And thank God!

Instead of a conclusion

I believe that World of Tanks brings people together in real life. Well, if you sit there, you play World of Warcraft - it's still for yourself. And here you play as a team. There are fighting friends and comrades here, from this you can take out a lot of useful things in real life for yourself.

I think that if the game helps you find yourself, become more confident in something, find new friends, then why not? Everyone wants to prove themselves in life. And if you like to show yourself in the game - God help you.

Description:

Hello everyone, you were waiting for the voice acting from your favorite WGTV presenters and we made it - together with you! We carefully looked at the works for the competition of phrases for voice acting and it was on their basis that we recorded Asya, Olga Sergeevna and Kirila Oreshkin. WGTV's tank voice acting for WOT 1.6.0.0 turned out to be very cool. For convenience, it was packaged in a convenient installer with a choice of installing several voice options:

  • voice acting from Serb;
  • voice acting by Kiril Oreshkin;
  • voice acting from Olga Sergeevna;
  • voice acting from Asya;
  • voice acting from a reputable developer;
  • crew voice acting from WGTV;

Choose any of them and enjoy your favorite voices not only by watching videos on YouTube, but also playing tanks. You can listen to how the voice acting will sound in the game right in the installer without installing it. If you still cannot choose the desired voice acting, then install the crew voice acting from WGTV, in it you can hear the voices of all three presenters, as well as a respectable developer.

An excellent feature of this voice acting is that by installing, for example, voice acting from Olga Sergeevna, you can switch to any other one right in the game, in the sound settings. (see below on the screenshot)

This is very convenient because once you install any voice acting from WG TV, you get 5 different voice acting at once, which can be switched right in battle. I think this pack of sound mods will be enough for you for a long time.
